Our Principal
Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year at Roosevelt Elementary!
It is an absolute privilege to step into my third year as principal of Roosevelt Elementary! I am grateful to continue partnering with such a passionate and welcoming community. Roosevelt has long been dedicated to high standards and student success, and I am excited to see all that we will accomplish together in the coming year.
Getting to know the heart of Roosevelt over the last two years—our incredible students, supportive families, talented staff, and dedicated PTA—has been a true honor. I am continually thankful for the kindness and commitment that make our community so special. I love working alongside a team that pushes for whole-child excellence—supporting our students academically, socially, and emotionally—and I look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.

Above all, we Keep Learning First—whether it’s mastering math equations, reading new words, crafting creative stories, or learning how to navigate strong emotions and solve friendship problems. Every moment is an opportunity to learn and grow. Our goal is to foster academic excellence while helping students develop into thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate individuals. This year, we will continue to nurture a strong sense of belonging and a love of learning in every classroom.
A bit about me: I’ve spent my entire professional career serving students and families in Rock County—as a teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, summer school principal, and interim principal. I am also a proud parent of two adult children and understand firsthand how deeply families care about their children’s learning and well-being. That perspective shapes everything I do as a school leader.
